Gender and Inclusion Mainstreaming in Dual TVET for In-Company Trainers

Course Description

This course equips TVET and in-company trainers with the knowledge and tools to foster inclusive, equitable environments in dual TVET programs. TVET practitioners will acquire knowledge, skills and attitude to apply gender, disability, and inclusion principles in the workplace, understand relevant laws and policies, and use inclusive language. The course also covers strategies for gender mainstreaming in dual TVET, benefits of inclusive practices, and measures for implementing gender and inclusion mainstreaming at TVET institutions. Trainers will be prepared to promote diversity, address disparities, and create supportive learning and work
environments. This course is implemented with support from the German Government through GIZ, 2020

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the training, the participants should be able to:

  • Describe benefits, strategies and concepts of Dual TVET
  • Undertake Dual TVET assessment and certification of D-TVET
  • Undertake documentation process: portfolio of Evidence
