The Nursery School was officially opened on 22nd January 1986 by Prof. Peter Gacii, who was then the Chairman of the KTTC Board of Governors and the Vice Chancellor of Kenyatta University.

The school opened with an enrolment of 60 learners, divided into four classes of 15 learners each, and was staffed by four teachers. It was established primarily to serve the children of staff members at the Kenya Technical Teachers College (KTTC)—now known as KISTVET—as there were no nearby early childhood education facilities at the time.

Although there was no transport available in the early years, enrolment grew steadily. Upon completing nursery school, learners have gone on to join various primary schools within Nairobi, including Hospital Hill, Aga Khan, Visa Oshwal, Nairobi Primary, and City Primary, among others.

Over time, the school has continued to expand, supported by qualified teachers, reliable transport services, and a supportive learning environment. It has also incorporated digital learning into its curriculum to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

In 2024, the school held its first graduation ceremony, marking a major milestone in its growth and development.

We appreciate the continued support of the CEO, Dr. Edwin Tarno and the school administration, whose efforts have been key to ensuring smooth and effective operations.
