Students Representative Council

The Kenya School of TVET Student Representative Council (SRC) is the official voice of the student body. at the school It’s a team of elected students who act as a bridge between their fellow students and the college administration.

Mission

The SRC’s mission is to:

1. Promote and defend the rights and welfare of KSTVET students.
2. Foster a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
3. Advocate for student interests in academic matters, facilities, and services.
4. Create opportunities for student leadership and development.
5. Build a strong working relationship with the college administration.

Structure

The SRC is composed of the following positions:

President: Leads the the council and represents the student body on various college committees.
Vice President: Supports the president and assumes leadership duties in their absence.
Cabinet Secretary: Manages councils directorates
Departmental Representatives: Represent the specific needs and concerns of students in each academic department (
Class Representatives: Represent the student body of a particular each an every class. Hall Representatives: Reprsesent the specific needs and concerns of students living in the various halls of residences (Blocks)
