The Background Information

Health & Applied Sciences Department trains trainees with a prerequisite diploma or degree on pedagogical skills necessary to enable such a trainee to deliver content to their trainees.

Vision

To be a centre of excellence training trainees in practical skill areas of Health & Applied Sciences.

Mission

To equip technical trainers with relevant scientific competences in Health, Applied Sciences and Research

Objectives

To equip trainees with relevant scientific practical skills to enable them to serve effectively in their profession.
To equip trainees with relevant scientific skills, knowledge, attitudes and values to enable them to serve as professional technical trainers.
To produce trainers who meet the market demand.
