Welcome to the Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET) Academic Library.
In strict alignment with our institutional mandate, our primary mission is to provide equitable and inclusive access to quality information services. We maintain a comprehensive repository of learning resources, systematically curated to support Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) curricula.
By anchoring foundational skills with cutting-edge digital innovation, we meet the evolving practical, pedagogical, and research needs of the KSTVET community. We warmly invite you to utilize this space and harness our resources to drive technical excellence and industrial transformation.
A Modern Learning Environment
Our library features an aesthetically optimized architectural layout designed as a conducive learning and research environment. The unique ambience—complemented by ergonomic mahogany seating and sound-dampening interior finishes—is engineered to facilitate maximum academic focus and eliminate cognitive distractions.
Expert Guidance & Customer Care
The KSTVET Library is managed by a team of highly competent information professionals (Team Library). In an era dominated by unstructured data, our staff ensures that users receive precise, validated, and high-utility information to fulfill their academic inquiries.
“Google can bring you back 100,000 answers, but a Librarian can bring you back the right one.” — Neil Gaiman
All registered internal stakeholders have full privilege to utilize our rich physical collections, digital resources, and high-speed internet connectivity. In our commitment to responsive customer service, we provide a secure baggage bay facility for your peace of mind, alongside dedicated charging hubs to power your laptops and mobile devices for uninterrupted learning. Team Library stands ready to facilitate your academic excellence and research endeavours in support of competency-based curricula.
“The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library.” — Albert Einstein
In alignment with this timeless recognition of the Library as the ultimate hub of knowledge for competency development, the KSTVET Library serves as the foundational gateway for skills acquisition and academic excellence.
Established in 1978 as an integral academic division of the college (formerly Kenya Technical Trainers College – KTTC), the Library anchors the instructional and research needs of the institution. We prioritize collections spanning Technical, Business, and Pedagogical disciplines within the framework of national TVET curricula -providing core textbooks, supplementary readings, and advanced e-resources.
