For a number of years the Institution Management department was one of the sections in the Education Department under a section head. In June 2019 it was established as an autonomous department.

The department aims at providing the trainers with effective and adequate skills that will enable them to produce a competent workforce for the industry in all the fields related to hospitality. To achieve this goal the trainers are armed with pedagogical as well as technical skills in their trade areas.

The Institution Management courses offered at KSTVET are as follows:

  • Food and Beverage
  • Catering and Accommodations
  • Clothing Technology and Fashion Design
  • Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Tourism Management


The department is steered by a strong and diligent team comprising of the following trainers:
