KSTVET Nursery School Celebrates its 2nd Graduation

The KSTVET Nursery School will celebrate its 2nd Graduation Ceremony on 23rd October 2025, marking yet another proud milestone in its remarkable journey of growth and excellence in early childhood education.

The school’s history dates back to 22nd January 1986, when it was officially opened by Prof. Peter Gacii, then Chairman of the KTTC Board of Governors and Vice Chancellor of Kenyatta University.

At its inception, the school enrolled 60 learners in four classes, each with 15 pupils, and was staffed by four dedicated teachers. It was established primarily to serve the children of staff members at the Kenya Technical Teachers College (KTTC)—now known as the Kenya School of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (KSTVET)—at a time when early childhood education facilities were scarce in the area.

Over the years, the school has experienced steady growth, supported by qualified teachers, modern transport services, and a nurturing learning environment. It has also embraced digital learning, enhancing both teaching and learning outcomes.

The first graduation ceremony in 2024 marked a significant milestone in the school’s journey. This year’s event continues that tradition, celebrating our young graduates as they transition to primary education—confident, curious, and ready to explore new horizons.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the CEO, Dr. Edwin Tarno, and the school administration for their unwavering support and commitment, which have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the nursery school.

Congratulations to our 2025 Graduating Class! 🌟
Together, we celebrate learning, growth, and the bright futures ahead.
