Today, as the Kenya School of TVET joins the nation in commemorating Jamhuri Day, we reflect with pride and gratitude on 62 years since Kenya attained full independence. This historic day reminds us of the courage, unity, and resilience that defined our journey to self-governance. It is a celebration of the aspirations of our forefathers and the progress we continue to make as a nation.

Jamhuri Day is not only a moment to honour our freedom from British colonial rule, but also an opportunity to reflect on the responsibilities that come with that freedom. For Kenya to truly safeguard and sustain its independence, we must continue to invest in the skills, innovation, and productivity of our people.

At the Kenya School of TVET, we recognize that Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) plays a pivotal role in securing Kenya’s socio-economic independence. A skilled nation is an empowered nation. Through TVET, we nurture a workforce that drives industrial growth, fosters entrepreneurship, expands employment opportunities, and positions Kenya competitively in the global economy.

As we celebrate this 62-year milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to:
